Track a school bus with Sprint Nextel

The GPS location systems built inside many current wireless phones can be used in many neat ways -- and one that caught my eye recently was the use of GPS technology to allow school districts to track the locations of their school bus fleets.
Actually, that is a
pretty innovative use of the technology, yes? According to reports, the Sprint Nextel service will also show administrators the students aboard all buses -- and also the stops where they get off.
The system uses Sprint's iDEN (Nextel) network and GPS signals to track the location of a bus, including student 'attendance' on that bus.
