Nokia brings Gizmo VoIP access to the wireless world

Gizmo Project is a SIP-based VoIP client I use quite often since I have no home phone and so I can call landline phones for hours without paying for any minutes (cellular or otherwise).

Although I use Skype quite a bit also, I prefer Gizmo for one single feature -- I can record calls with a single click. I still can't believe that Skype does not offer this function without more software (third-party at that).

So, it was heartening to see that Gizmo is coming to Nokia N80 handsets. The Nokia N80 Internet Edition is optimized for SIP-based Internet calls and Gizmo looks to be a great candidate for this kind of easy way to configure and make calls using an inexpensive VoIP client.
