The folks over at Mobile-Review.com -- a wireless review site in Russia -- have posted details and snapshots of the newer Windows Mobile operating system (codenamed "Crossbow") and from initial looks, this will be quite a nice upgrade for Windows Mobile fans. Of course, Microsoft is going to push its new Internet-based services like live.com -- which I would expect. "Crossbow" doesn't look to be a major upgrade to Windows Mobile 5.0, but it does have some click elements indeed.
What I've waited for is the singular version of Windows Mobile that unifies the Pocket PC and Smartphone operating systems. Perhaps in 2009 -- just in time for HAL to be jealous.
