Motorola buys "Good" Technology

That title isn't an adjective ~~verb~~ -- Motorola really has purchased Good Technology, large maker of mobile messaging applications for wireless enterprise users. Although the sum was not disclosed, you can bet that Motorola will be paying a decent sum to get a hold of Good.

With Motorola recently snatching up Symbol Technologies, the acquisition of Good will strengthen Motorola's influence in the enterprise market in a pretty decent way.

Motorola already plays nicely in the consumer wireless market -- being as resurgent as they've been in the last few years -- and now its resurgence into the enterprise market looks to be in full swing with this latest play.

1. I believe 'good' is an noun and an adjective (and possibly adverb in America) but definitely not a verb.

e.g. "He is good", "He's a good dog", "Your dog sings good [US]"
_but not_ "Your dog goods well(!?)".

And no, I'm not being pedantic, I'm being pernickety, there is a difference. ;-)
