With Disney Mobile lowering the price of its branded handsets and giving a free month of service to new subscribers, the MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) wants to make sure as many people know about its service this holiday season, as this may be the "last hurrah" for the MVNO this year -- or any year.Disney Mobile most likely will have to sign up quite a few more customers to become profitable, as most newer MVNOs will have to do. Can they succeed? Only time will tell, but with ESPN Mobile going away, the "highly branded" MVNOs may face the same challenges. One of those is Disney Mobile.
