T-Mobile "Dash" QWERTY handset debuts

T-Mobile has unleased the "Dash" multimedia handset, Blackberry-esque handset as of today for some pretty respectable pricing. The new Dash will sell for $350 out the door, $250 for a 1-year contract at purchase and $199 for a 2-year contract at purchase. The new Dash is built by HTC, the maker of almost all Windows Mobile smartphones these days.

Thank goodness the new Dash has built-in WiFi, as the quad-band GSM/EDGE device has no real high-speed data outside of the WiFi realm (EDGE seems palty once you've gotten used to EV-DO and HSDPA). The full details are over at Engadget Mobile, and a full-hands-on review is detailed with great precision over at PhoneScoop if you can't wait to hear more.
