News Corp. exec urges mobile-entertainment collaboration

In addition to News Corp. buying a controlling stake in Jamba -- the mobile entertainment company -- News Corp. said at the CTIA tradeshow this week that mobile carriers and entertainment companies need to work together better and faster.
Peter Chernin said that the potential for driving
data-based wireless sales and entertainment offerings at the same time was huge enough to warrant the two industries to work very closely together. In a perfect swat at capitalistic attitude, Chernin said, "Getting every teenager in America to spend $5 per month on mobile entertainment could generate another $5 billion for the industry". Money talks, yes?
