Amp'd Mobile, the MVNO that seems to be in the press quite a bit lately, is once again chewing through its business model. This time, it is adding new "hybrid" pricing plans to its lineup. Instead of just pre-paid service plans targeting the 18-35 crowd, the MVNO is now offering a mix of pre-paid and post-paid service plans to fit all needs. No surprise there -- some people want inexpensive everything in exchange for signing a long-term contract. What's interesting here is that amp'd is saying no long-term contracts will be required with the post-paid service plan offerings it will have available. For example, 1,000 minutes can now be had for $50 per month, with after-the-fact billing coming on a customer credit card or debit card -- but there's no contract.
