HSDPA services in Latin America within a year, says Ericsson

With Ericsson continuing to find wireless carriers wanting to upgrade to newer HSDPA high-speed 3G data networks, the company predicts that HSDPA networks will start appearing in
Latin America within 12 months.
Both Chile and Brazil appear to be at the top of the list of Latin American countries that will first see commercial HSDPA networks, although regulatory holdups in Brazil may cause a few issues there. But, it you're in South America, get ready for HSDPA soon (hopefully).
What other countries in South America may be getting HSPDA networks? Venezuela? Columbia? Peru? We'll all have to see later -- like in 2009 maybe.
