Our friends over at Engadget
scooped the upcoming T-Mobile UMA (unified mobile access) service with exclusive shots of the Samsung handset that T-Mobile will introduce first as part of the new WiFi calling and mobile calling service.
With T-Mobile releasing not only a handset but an
approved D-Link WiFi router as part of the "home WiFi calling" service, this should be interesting as the new service from T-Mobile develops. Does T-Mobile really want to have customers use free in-home WiFi calling with their handsets instead of using precious airtime minutes? Stay tuned -- there is more to this than meets the eye.
