We generally hear about the rise in complaints against the wireless companies -- particularly against the top players like Cingular and Verizon Wireless (probably because they are easy targets). But in the first quarter of this year, wireless complaints and inquiries
both dropped from the fourth quarter of 2005.
According to JD Power and Associates, cellular subscribers in the U.S. are more satisfied with their service so far in 2006 than in all of 2005, which is a good sign. Is coverage expansion the reason? Are more informed customer service representatives the reason? Is better equipment the reason? Who knows --
maybe it's a little bit of everything.
