The Wireless Report announces new podcasts! Listen up here...

Well folks, Mike Sciannamea and Brian White would like to happily announce that The Wireless Report will now be featuring regular audio commentary and news on a regular basis through our new baby, The Wireless Report Podcast. Saddle up!

We'll be recording and releasing a podcast every week or every other week (stay tuned to see which frequency it is!) on the hot wireless topics of the week, and we're pleased to have you join us in our discussion and our fun frivolity as well. We promise to make it fun and extertaining while still covering serious issues with our Deep Thoughts (ok, partially deep) on the issues of the day.

So, without further ado, download out inaugural podcast now and sit back to enjoy the ride. 1. Well 25 MB may not sound a lot to you because you are in USA but those of us who are in South Asia, it is a real challenge to download. Can't you break it up in 2-3 parts so that we can download each part easily and listen? I really think that from now you have two options.

3. I believe Verizon Wireless needs to deliver on teir promises when someone signs a contract with them. They advertise this network of service that is suppose to follow you no matter where you go. Prior to my wife and I moving out of NJ, we were quite pleased with Verizon's service. When we did move we noticed a serious increase in dropped calls. We called the company to complain. All they could tell us was they would be building a tower in our community within a year or two. We decided to end ur relationship with Verizon. We called the customer service number with our complaint, and that we would not pay the penalty for cancellation. They agreed under the circumstances, and provided us with a number to call and procedure to follow. We followed the procedure calling the number provided. Thinking all of this was over, we went out and signed up with Cingular (Now ATT, great service, few dropped calls)! Subsequently, we continued to receive bills from Verizon which included service for dates well past our termination time. We refused to pay. They reported us as a negative account on our credit report. I am considering filing Federal charges against Verizon for this. If you are now under a Verizon Wireless contract, I would recommend you watch your back, and I would not recommend Verizon Wireless to anyone!
