In response to a customer survey gauging their thoughts on their service plan, Alltel Corp. will be launching its "My Circle"
program next week that will allow their customers, who have monthly rate plans of $59.95 or higher, to make free,
unlimited calls to 10 telephone numbers of their choice.
According to the company, customers cannot designate their own wireless or voice mail number, directory assistance, international, or 900 numbers. However, they can include any other number on any network anywhere in the U.S.
Will this type of plan work? Will customers who have monthly plans less than $59.95 switch to the higher rate in order to get those 10 free numbers?
