Wireless laptops are
about to become - if they are not already - the road warrior's *constant* connection to, well, wherever, be it the
office or offices, home, clients, etc. No more "downtime" - unless in flight, of course. Verizon's
BroadbandAccess and Cingular's Data Connect offer embedded wireless data connectivity on certain Dell, Lenovo
and HP laptops - and this feature will become standard soon (my guess) alongside WiFi on many business
laptopsAlthough Verizon's EV-DO and Cingular's HSDPA networks are not truly available nationwide, both wireless connectivity options will fall back to the slower 1xRTT and EDGE protocols automatically, so at least you'll have access anywhere - albeit sometimes not at boradband speeds. The prices, which rage from $40 to $80 based on an existing voice subscription, are pretty reasonable considering the coverage you get and the unlimited data that comes along with it.

1. I was planning to by a new laptop and your report provided me good knowledge about the different laptop and the new features available in them
