Walls may keep out intruders, but they can't keep out wireless technology. Witness the ancient walled city of
Derry in Northern Ireland, who announced today that they
plan to deploy a citywide network by this April, making it one of the first European cities to go wireless. The network
will be a result of a collaboration between the local government and institutions of higher learning with input from
Tropos Networks, who will be developing the infrastructure.
