Businesses Continue to Pour More $ Into Wireless Voice Services

New research from In-Stat indicates that for the first time ever, U.S.-based businesses will spend more money on wireless voice services than on wireline this year. In addition, large firms will increase their expenditures on wireless services an average of 18 percent over the next three years, with mid- and smaller-sized companies expect to invest a fairly similar amount as well.

It'll be interesting to see how wireline vendors will respond, either in offering reduced costs or value-added services to make sure their business won't shrink any further.
