A Bizarre Twist in the Cellphone-Swallowing Story

The other day we pointed out what seemed like one of those end-of-the-year oddball stories you read about where a
woman, upset over her boyfriend's overuse of his cellphone, tried to swallow the device whole in order to
make a point. It now turns out that the woman was the victim of an assault, and that police in Blue Springs, Missouri
already have a suspect in custody. It is not yet known if the boyfriend is the suspect and no details have been
released as to exactly what happened.
Whoever is responsible for this bizarre incident should be prosecuted to
the fullest extent of the law. Let's hope this poor young woman recovers from the injuries she may have sustained.
